Ridin Dirty The ONLY radio show in America dedicated to the issues of drinking and driving weekdays from 12-1pm
KFNX-Phoenix 1100AM
For many of you that haven’t yet heard, there is a new radio show in town.
Ridin’ Dirty is the first of its kind, an entire hour of talk radio dedicated solely to the issues surrounding drinking and driving.  Broadcast daily from 12:00pm – 1:00pm on KFNX 1100, this unique program was designed to motivate and inspire people to live life, drink when and where they desire, but do so without the possibility of legal troubles.

Ridin’ Dirty was created by Ken Sharp, whose own experience with DUI’s convinced him that new, innovative public service programs were needed in order to educate and subsequently prevent these types of incidents that he and many others feel has become a national epidemic.  “With Arizona being a no tolerance state, and the recent harsh penalties attached to DUI’s, it has never been more important for us as a society to change,” says Ken Sharp, one of the show’s host and founder.  For the last 3 years, Ken has worked as a Behavioral Health Technician at the Scottsdale Treatment Institute and facilitated court mandated groups for DUI offenders.  From those groups Ken learned that the issue of drinking and driving affects everyone.  Ridin’ Dirty is a new platform to discuss and old issue.  The statistics speak for themselves.  In 2007, nearly 1.6 million drivers will be arrested in the U.S. for an offense once considered a social norm.

Ridin’ Dirty is an interactive radio show that addresses one of today’s most pressing social issues by creating a unique and entertaining forum for debating and discussing the political, economic, and social impact of drinking and driving in America.

Ridin' Dirty has been the recipient of both national and local awards for its original content and compelling method of delivery.  Ridin' Dirty was recently named 'Best Idea for a Radio Show' by the New Times - read more!.
Ridin’ Dirty is grateful to the socially responsible sponsors of this program who are looking to create positive change in our community.
